Personal Trainer, Reformer Pilates
I have been a personal trainer since 1999 and established Drakes Gym in 2005. I have always enjoyed sport, I coach football and still play so personal training and running Drakes isn’t just a job for me. It’s what I love. I am also passionate about animal rights and have been a vegan since January 2014. Since adopting a "plant based" diet and training regularly on the Pilates reformer I have found that I can train harder and recover quicker.
I believe training sessions should be enjoyable as well as productive. The key to achieving and maintaining long term results is through consistency which clients can only achieve if their programs are realistic and they have room to enjoy life. It’s also really important to enjoy training sessions so I like to use a variation of methods when training with my clients. Including the Pilates Reformer, free weights and body weight exercises. The key is to constantly challenge your body with a variation of training techniques.
Reformer Pilates Instructor &Personal Trainer
I help people look and feel good by rebalancing body and mind.
I am a qualified personal trainer and Pilates instructor with six years of experience in studio classes and one-to-one training across London.
I was introduced to the Pilates method in my high school years as part of my contemporary dance training. I experienced the benefits straight away as it improved my dance technique & body awareness. Practising Pilates has kept me fit, healthy and injury-free.
The movement repertoire of Reformer Pilates is based on the original Pilates method - spinal rehabilitation - combined with modern exercise science. It enhances your strength and flexibility from the bottom of your heels to the top of your head. It leaves you feel strong physically as well as mentally.
I am dedicated to spread the passion I feel about Pilates and help other people feel great about their body.

15 years ago I decided on a complete career change and became a personal trainer. It was a challenging prospect, suddenly being thrown out of my comfort zone and starting something completely new. Often when I meet new clients they are sometimes at this same point, feeling they want to make a change, be it to get fitter, lose weight, gain muscle, improve self confidence or manage stress, but are daunted by having to do something new. I know that my journey has helped others to make these changes.
My clients are of all age groups and fitness levels and I prefer to take a flexible approach, recognizing that everyone reaches their goals in different ways and time scales and it's not 'one size fits all' but tailoring a program to each client individually in order to best meet their needs. My level of experience encompasses training based on functionality helping to promote muscle growth, flexibility, core stability and weight loss.
Finding a personal trainer can be difficult as it's often hard to find someone with the right balance of empathy and rapport whom you can trust to know that they will respond to your needs specifically and to know that what might work for a 25 year old might not necessarily work for a 50 year old. Having recently reached the latter age bracket I feel this puts me in a good position to meet these needs in a positive manner where you will work hard, get results and have fun along the way.

Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist
Over the past 10 years I have worked with a variety of clients, ranging from academy sports teams to busy professionals, and always like to work with a results-driven approach. I prioritise postural analysis and corrective exercise, using my Sports Science background and Sports Massage skills to ensure my clients are functioning optimally. I have worked extensively assessing and treating injuries and work closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths and other trainers to achieve the best results for my clients. It’s no good training hard if your diet’s not up to scratch, and so I work closely with my clients to ensure their diet complements their training program. I have always loved sport and fitness having played football at academy level growing up. I am also a qualified ski and snowboard instructor so love to head to the slopes whenever possible!

Personal Trainer and Confidence Coach
My goal as a coach is to empower women through fitness. I am experienced in helping those who want to be fit, strong and confident reach their goals.
My passion is a result of my own fitness journey. Up until my early twenties I had been very overweight. Though I wanted to change my body and life more than anything, I was scared that people would laugh at the fat girl training. However, in 2014 I decided enough was enough. Through resistance training and consistency with my nutrition I lost just under 4 stone in 6 months. As my body grew stronger, so did my mind and I knew that helping people change their lives for the better was exactly what I wanted to do with my time.
In the time since starting training I have also taken up Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. In that time I have medalled in The London Open, British Nationals and British Open to name a few.
I never believed that I could lose weight and be confident with my body, let alone be good at a sport as well. If I can change my life, then trust me, so can you. Get in touch today for more information
I am a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and together we will achieve your health and fitness goals. Whether you are looking to lose fat, tone up, build muscle, or train for a specific event, I can help.
I believe that any programme needs to be tailored, motivating, sustainable and enjoyable, and that it should benefit every area of your life. Let me show you how you can reduce stress, sleep better and have more energy, all through simple but consistent changes to your daily routine.
My approach is to Nudge Not Judge - and understanding that it’s all about finding a balance which works for you but which maximises the positive impacts of consistent training and proper nutrition.
I specialise in plant-powered fitness advice, so if you are already plant-based, or looking to make the switch to a vegan or vegetarian approach, let me show you how to harness the power of plants.
